Two Days Camp: 

Our College students had arranged a two days adoption camp from 08-09-2016 to 09-09-2016 at Vakampatti situated two kilometers from our college. The importance of cleanliness is explained to the people.  We told them that cleanliness is very important for them to lead a peaceful life.  The villagers accepted the theme and assured to follow the importance of cleanliness.

 Student’s Awareness: 

Our college management had arranged a student’s awareness programme on 05-10-2016, to explain about the cleanliness in the college campus.  They were told the importance of planting in and around the college.  Trees generates good oxygen, which is useful for those in and around the campus.  The role of tree in producing good rain which is useful for everybody in the world.

Blood Donation Awareness Program: 

Our college had arranged a blood donation awareness programme on 25-10-2016.  In that  programme the importance of blood donate was explained to the student’s extensively.  They were explained how human blood saves the life of many people who are in need of it.  They were told that donating blood will no way affect our health.  They were also told that we can donate blood as many times as possible to the near by people.

20 days observation class: 

We the student’s of our class were taken to a nearby government aided school for class room observation for twenty days from 07-11-2016 to 02-12-2016 . In the school all the teacher’s taught with proper lesson plans, flash cards, and chart and using black boards.  We observed the methods and teaching abilities of the teachers. We had good experience when we were in the school and learned many things.

 Demonstration for Student’s: 

After the twenty days observation class in various schools.  We ourselves shared our experiences and methods, and ways used by different teachers in different schools between 05-12-2016 and 09-12-2016 days.  We gained a lot of knowledge and experience by demonstrating ourselves the days we spent in the various schools.

Innovative Schools: 

On 14-12-2016 , the student’s of our batch were taken to the best and innovative school in our district situated 5 kilometers away from our campus.  The school has all the modern teaching equipments.  The teacher’s are well equipped with the teaching methodology.  The campus was clean and has a good atmosphere for both teaching and learning.

Christmas Function: 

Our college management had arranged the Christmas function in a grand manner on 23-12-2016.  The teaching of Christ and his love for the poor people, and the children were explained.  The student’s were dressed like child Jesus, Joseph and Mary and were asked to imitate the scene of Christ birth.  Finally gifts exchange was done among the student's.

Pongal Function: 

Our college management had arranged in a grand manner to celebrate the Pongal Festival in our campus on 12-01-2017.  The festival is the most important festival for the Tamil people.  On that day the student’s with their traditional dress came to the college.  They prepared sweet pongal in the mud pots and distributed among themselves. They also enjoyed sugar canes.  The whole day was spent with dances and other cultural programmes and prizes were distributed.

Rangoli Competition: 

On the event of Pongal our college had arranged a Rangoli competition on 13-01-2017 for the first and second year Student’s.  Many Student’s participated in a event with their great interest.  They drew many Rangoli’s with different types and with different colors.  They were very attractive.  Finally, prizes were distributed to the best Rangoli’s in the order of their merit respectively first, second and third.

Educational Tour: 

As part of final year student's educational motivation, our college management had arranged an educational tour on 25-01-2017. Two buses were charted and the students were taken to Trichy the historic city.  In Trichy the student’s went first to the Uchi Pillaiyar Temple in the Rockfort and were told about the importance of the temple.  Then they went to the Government Planetarium and were told about the universe.  Then they were taken to the Heavy Boiler Plant and gun factory.  After spending a whole day in Trichy they returned back safely.

 Guest Lecture: 

Our college had arranged a guest lecture on how to teach the English Language Properly on 10-02-2017.   The Head of the Department of English, J.E College,  Ms. Jancy Rani was the chief guest.  In this residential address the emphasized the need of spoken English and how to pronounce English words, and how to teach the language properly. Finally the coordinator for English thanked every one.

Internal Exams: 

Our college had conducted periodically three internal exams for all the papers between 06-03-2017 and 30-03-2017.  In the exams important questions expected in the university exam were asked.  The papers were properly corrected and marks were awarded according to the performance.  After distributing papers each and every student was instructed how to improve their performance.

Model Exams: 

Before the university examination model exams were conducted for all the papers between 17-4-2017 and 28-04-2017.  The answer papers were corrected and distributed to the students.  The students were individually advised how to improve their performances in the university examinations.

University Examinations: 

Finally the University Examinations were conducted in the respective centres on 25-05-2017 and 02-06-2017.  Our students attended the examinations carefully and came with flying colours.  The students by performing good in the university examinations brought credit to our college.

 Mini Teaching: 

A mini teaching programme was conducted on 12-07-2017 for the students in our college.  A small group of students ranging from five to seven were allotted to each trainer. The trainer had a chance of very close interaction with the students and make them understand the subject clearly.

Smart Class Awareness: 

In our college one day smart class room awareness programme was conducted on 24-07-2017. The students were told the need and importance of this type of class rooms.  They were explained how it is very easy for students to learn from such classes.  They were told it is the need of our time.  It will be very useful both for the teachers and students in their teaching and learning process.

University Results: 

The results for the first year B.Ed degree course was published on 18-08-2017. The results were very high in our college.  Most of our students secured first class marks.  Few students secured distinction ranks.  It encouraged the present second year students to study well and get good marks.

80 Days Training Program: 

All the students in our college were asked to undertake a 80 days training programme from 08-09-2017 to 17-01-2018.  Each student was allotted a particular school and a supervisor was assigned to them.  They with the consultation of the supervisor prepared lesson plan, charts, flash cards and taught the students effectively.

Educational Tour: 

Last month an educational tour was arranged to Sithanavasal in Pudukottai District on 09-02-2018.  In Sithanavasal there are small hills with ancient paintings.  The students enjoyed them very well.  They were told how it is useful for the historical studies and understand the history of the people who lived there.

Fireless Cooking: 

On 06-02-2018, The teachers and trainers were explained the need and usefulness of fireless cooking. They were told how to use induction stoves while cooking various food items.  They were told how it is very hygiene and good for health.  The cost of fireless cooking is very cheap and comparatively cheap for everybody.
